3-Dimensional Services Group Employee Wins Big Thanks to Owner’s Support

3-Dimensional Services Group is a leading prototype and low-volume production firm. It is also a firm whose owner takes a heartfelt interest in his employees’ welfare. But a recent occurrence took that interest to an ever higher level.

Douglas Peterson, president and founder purchased 375 raffle tickets, including one for each employee of the three companies, from Orchard Chrysler Dodge in support of the Animal Aid Foundation. The Grand Prize was to be a 2012 Dodge Challenger, but would revert to a 50/50 raffle if not enough tickets were sold. Even though not enough tickets were sold, Denzil (Trent) Finley had the winning ticket and claimed the 50/50 prize. The prize was in excess of $10,000.

Finley has been employed with the Group of companies for 16 years and has worked at both 3-Dimensional Services and Urgent Plastic Services. He is currently a project leader at Urgent Plastic Services.

Finley was having dinner at a restaurant when he received the phone call from Orchard Chrysler Dodge that he was the raffle winner. He was on speaker phone and could hear the noise in the background and they told him that they had ‘some good and some bad news.’ The bad news was that there weren’t enough tickets purchased to win the grand prize of the 2012 Dodge Challenger, but the good news was that he was the winner of the 50/50 raffle.

Finley said, “I’ve worked at 3-Dimensional for over 16 years and it continues to amaze me how cool Doug is and what he does for his employees. The winnings will go to good use, I can tell you that.”

Douglas Peterson added, “Our employees are great people and Trent is an excellent employee. I couldn’t be happier for him. Any time that we can provide our employees with a bit more of our ‘show of appreciation’ for their efforts and have a little fun, we do it. We work with a lot of deserving charities, but the Animal Aid Foundation has a special place in our hearts.”

The Animal Aid Foundation is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of animal rescue. Specializing in but not limited to cats and dogs, the organization has assisted in placing many lost or unwanted animals in forever homes, giving them the second chance they deserve.

The 3-Dimensional Services Group, consisting of 3-Dimensional Services, Urgent Plastic Services, Urgent Design & Manufacturing and 3-Dimensional Services-Europe, has earned a reputation for building functional prototype parts and low-volume production parts 50 to 70% faster than conventional prototype shops.
